Bit2Board Consulting GmbH is a principal-led IT advisory, entered in the commercial register of the Canton of Zug in March 2024. The name is the promise: we translate between technology and the people who have to decide about it.
Faysal Cherradi
Founder and managing director, enterprise architect
Faysal Cherradi has worked in software and IT since 2008: as a developer in Morocco and Germany, as a senior software developer in Switzerland, and from 2019 to 2023 as a senior transformation consultant who led a software consulting team. He founded Bit2Board to work directly with the people who carry the decision.
Today he is lead architect and technical project lead of iGovPortal NextGen, an e-government platform shared by nine Swiss cantons. The work covers micro-frontend modernisation, identity and access management with Keycloak and OpenID Connect, supplier coordination and documentation governance under HERMES.
He works in German, English, French and Arabic. That is why international digital-government programmes are part of the practice, and why documents and workshops can be in the language your stakeholders use.
Experience
- Lead architect and technical project lead of iGovPortal NextGen, an inter-cantonal e-government platform: micro-frontend architecture, integration via API gateway and message broker, identity and access with Keycloak and OpenID Connect, procurement and supplier coordination under HERMES.
- ERP and carve-out projects in commodity trading, life sciences and manufacturing, including a trading-system carve-out completed before a transitional service agreement ended.
- Project lead for Swiss federal IT projects with budgets up to CHF 6 million.
- Supervision of a renovation and modernisation programme of more than CHF 12 million in Swiss invalidity insurance (IV).
- Enterprise architecture for a Swiss energy utility: maturity assessment, ArchiMate training, stakeholder questions, EA blueprint and coaching of architects.
- Software risk assessment, cost and productivity analysis, supplier management and team leadership as a senior transformation consultant.
- Software architecture and development in Java EE, C#, Python and Spring Boot; ArchiMate, Sparx Enterprise Architect, architecture decision records, ATAM and CBAM in daily use.
This experience was built over 18 years in employed and contracted roles, not all of it at Bit2Board. Clients are named only where they have agreed.

Independence
Our advice is only worth something if nobody else is paying for it. That is why we follow four rules:
- We accept no commissions, referral fees or reseller margins from software vendors or integrators.
- When we help an authority prepare a tender, neither Bit2Board nor its principal bids on that tender or works for a bidder on it.
- Before we review a supplier's work, we disclose any earlier relationship with that supplier.
- We do not take engagements that would conflict with other professional obligations of the principal. Potential conflicts are disclosed in the proposal.
AI and your data
We use AI to read, compare and cross-check documents faster, so you pay for judgement rather than page-turning.
- AI output is a draft. Every finding is checked against its source and signed off by Faysal Cherradi.
- We use AI services only under business terms that exclude training on your data.
- Confidential and personal data is processed with AI only with your written agreement. You can also ask us to work without AI.
- Where you require Swiss or EU data residency, we use tools and settings that provide it, or we work without them.
- Your documents are returned or deleted at the end of the engagement, unless we agree otherwise.
Confidentiality
We sign your non-disclosure agreement, or offer ours, before you share the first document. Client names and documents are never used as references without written permission. For public clients, the confidentiality and information-security terms of your contract apply in full.
