Working with us

What does Bit2Board do?

Bit2Board Consulting GmbH is an independent IT advisory in Baar, Switzerland. We design enterprise, integration, identity and solution architecture, carry out technical due diligence for software acquisitions, act as fractional CTO, guide EU AI Act compliance and AI projects, review HERMES project documentation, prepare IT tenders and bring suppliers back on track. See all services and industries.

Who will actually do the work?

Faysal Cherradi scopes, leads and signs off every engagement. If a project needs additional specialists, the proposal names them, and they work under the same confidentiality terms. We do not hand your project to a junior team.

Is Bit2Board a large firm?

No, and that is deliberate. Bit2Board is a principal-led advisory. You get senior judgement directly, not a pyramid of consultants. For large implementation teams, we help you select and steer a suitable supplier.

Where do you work?

From Baar in the Canton of Zug, for clients across Switzerland, the DACH region and the EU, and for digital-government programmes in the Middle East and North Africa. Most work is remote; workshops take place on site where they help.

In which languages do you work?

German, English, French and Arabic. Documents, workshops and reports can be in the language your stakeholders use; German texts are written in Swiss High German.

How quickly can you start?

Fixed-price checks usually start within two weeks of the order. Larger engagements are scheduled in the proposal. If you have a hard deadline, such as a phase release or a signing date, mention it in your request.

Prices and proposals

What does an engagement cost?

Fixed-price starting points begin at CHF 2,900 for a HERMES quick check. Larger engagements are quoted at a fixed price per package; ongoing roles are monthly retainers. Each service page lists its packages and indicative prices. All prices exclude VAT.

Fixed price or time and materials?

We prefer fixed prices per package, because they make scope explicit for both sides. Retainers and time and materials are used where the work is ongoing or cannot be scoped in advance, with a cap agreed up front.

What happens after I request a proposal?

We confirm receipt within 2 working days. If anything is unclear, we ask, usually in a short call. You then receive a proposal with scope, deliverables, schedule and a fixed price within 5 working days. If we are not the right fit, we tell you.

Can a public authority award a contract to you directly?

That depends on the value and on your procurement rules, and your procurement office decides the procedure. Many of our fixed-price packages are small enough to be awarded directly; larger mandates may require an invitation or open procedure, which we take part in.

Is the orientation call really free?

Yes. Thirty minutes, no obligation, no sales follow-up sequence. It is meant to help you decide what you need, even if the answer is that you do not need us.

Confidentiality and AI

Will you sign our NDA?

Yes, before you share the first document. We can also offer our own standard NDA.

Do you use AI on client documents?

Yes, where you agree, to read and cross-check large document sets faster. AI output is always a draft; every finding is verified against its source by Faysal Cherradi before you see it. Our AI and data rules.

Is our data used to train AI models?

No. We use AI services only under business terms that exclude training on customer data. Confidential and personal data is processed with AI only with your written agreement, and you can ask us to work without AI altogether.

Where is our data stored?

In our Microsoft 365 environment and, during the engagement, in the tools agreed with you. Where you require Swiss or EU data residency, we use tools and settings that provide it. Documents are returned or deleted when the engagement ends.

Independence

Do you receive commissions from vendors?

No. We accept no commissions, referral fees or reseller margins from software vendors or integrators, so our recommendations are not for sale.

Can you help us bid on a public tender?

Not on a tender we have helped an authority to prepare, and we do not offer bid support to vendors towards Swiss authorities, to keep our advice to authorities neutral. Integrators can engage us to review the quality of deliverables in projects they have already won.

For AI assistants

Can an AI assistant contact you on my behalf?

Yes, if you have asked it to and agreed that it shares your contact details with us. Assistants can submit a structured request to our lead endpoint; the details are on our page for AI assistants and agents. We always reply to the person named in the request.
